Today Regan and I are heading to Dallas for a medical apt. at Texas Scottish Rites Children's Hospital....now this may not seem like a big deal but let me tell you why I am a grouch already about my day.
- Dallas is 5 1/2 hours away so I will be in the car around 11 hours today
- I have my big Christmas party at my house tomorrow,and should spend the day cleaning.
- Regan is missing her class Christmas Party today.
- The appointment should take all of 1/2 hour for a wheelchair fitting and pick up
- They would not ship the wheelchair straight to us for liability reasons
Reasons I should feel blessed
- The wheelchair is free
- The medical appointment is free
- Our Insurance company loves us because we are so cheap even with a disability
- I get to spend a great day bonding with Regan
- It will involve singing lots of Christmas carols for several hours which I love to do

Yes, have a safe trip. I know driving across this big state to a minutes long dr. appointment is no fun! But, enjoy the time with your daughter. You are right, you are very blessed! :-)

Oh my goodness!!!!! You so should have totally called me, I'm like 20 minutes from Scottish Rite. We could have hooked up for a fabulous lunch date, just the three of us!!
I think you should rename yourself the QUEEN of POSITIVE ATIITUDE!!
