Weight Watchers goes Interactive

I have tried a variety of weight loss methods over the years, but have never done the Weight Watchers method that so many of my friends use and love. I am not sure whether it was the idea of thinking of my food in terms of points or being forced to face facts in front of a group of my peers that I had a little extra weight that needs to be gone. But nowadays there is a whole new weight watchers world online and new gadgets to make it fun and easy......so I admit to being a little intrigued.

The first new interactive tool is now Weight Watchers has jumped on the facebook bandwagon, which make my life easier since everyone in my family seems to be on facebook including my parents (another story later, I promise). It will feature upcoming products and deliver news and information to Weight Watchers food enthusiasts. It will also have links to recipes, product-related vidcasts, instant polls and more.

The second new interactive tool is this really cool widget you can download onto your desktop that gives you a snack equivalent to what you are craving.

I plugged Chocolate and peanut butter which is often a craving of mine, and I found out that Weight Watchers actually has their own version of this tasty treat I love.

The third really interesting thing that Weight Watchers is showcasing for the new year is an awards system. So, now I am really interested, you mean I can earn free stuff while I lose weight? Boy, you people know how to make my toes tingle. This new system is called incrEdible rewards. For every item you buy just simply cut out the UPC code and let your points rack up. You can earn things like beauty products or digital cameras. There is a really nice variety of stuff at the website. Definitely enough to pique my interests.

I am really evaluating what has worked for me in the past, and what dietary changes I need to make along with my fitness regime to get back on track to staying hot for the hubbie. Weight Watchers has given me some new things to think and get excited about.

A special thank you to Weight Watchers and The Family Review Network for opening my eyes to these great new tools.
