You can imagine my squeals of delight when this gorgeous bouquet arrived at my house. I proudly displayed my flowers in the middle of my kitchen where my husband can't help but notice them immediately (which he does), and then I of course wait for the next obvious question of my mind
"Where did the flowers come from honey"?
Well I might as well wait until pigs fly....because the question never came. John Mark waltzed in during lunch, and just commented on how pretty they were. Not one query of their origin....not one slight hint of jealousy or curiosity. Doesn't he worry at all? Well I finally couldn't stand it any more, and said
"Don't you want to know where they came from"?
Then I got to share that the bouquet came to me from the California Cut Flower Commission to showcase their new hint cards. So that those of us for whom husbands bringing home fresh bouquets on a whim is not a typical occurrence can leave subtle clues around that flowers would be appreciated. Here are the what the cards say:
1.pssst...my favorite flower is in season.
2.I DARE YOU TO BUY ME flowers.
3.Flowers make a girl happy. And you know what happens when this girl is happy... ;)
4.Want to make up for it? You know what to do.
5.Not because you have to. Not because you're sorry. Just because.

I would leave it on his keyboard. That's the only thing he looks at lately! :P
Iwould put it in his lunch box. Everyday it's a guess as to what I made the night before for dinner that my husband brings for leftovers. Wouldn't it be neat to add a hint card?
Iwould tape it onthe tv..cuz thats the only place eyes are glued on.lol
TAPE IT ON THE DOOR! lol

I would slip this in his lunch box lezanac@yahoo.com
I would tape a big note on the inner side of the toilet lid so whenever the seat goes up he gets the message.
I would put one in my husbands wallet were his money was.
I will stick it on the door! So he can see it when he goes out!

I would use them to say sorry when we fought.I would put them on the seat of his truck so in the morning he would know I was thinking about him. I would sneak them in his locker at work so he knew when I wanted time alone and some special attention! I would use them just to say I love you and thank you for loving me and being mine.. :)

I would leave a card in his undie drawer so he would see it first thing in the morning, put another in his laptop, sneak them into his pants or jacket pockets, hide one behind his toothbrush in the bathroom...there are so many places I would put these cute little reminders!

In his butt, after I remove my foot from it for never buying me flowers!

Woooohooo! I actually might win something!
I would tape it inside his cell phone. He's on it all the time.
I would tape it to the inside of his laptop. But I'm still not sure it would get the job done!
I would snail mail one to him!
I would tape them to his beloved Little Debbie Cakes. And then, well, I'd probably have to tape a $20 to them for added incentive.
I would put it in his cell phone case. He works at a cell phone store so he would find it within minutes of getting to work, AND there's a flower shop nearby! =)
I would get the coffee pot ready the night before, lay out his coffee cup and put the card inside his cup where I'm sure he would find it.
